4Advisors, also known as Independent or RIA and Independent Advisors, was founded by Phil Ratcliff. Phil founded rebel Financial back in 2013. After experiencing tragic legal battles when leaving his captive insurance broker dealer, Phil was inspired to start an organization dedicated to helping other advisors start their own independent financial firms. 4Advisors provides guidance and connects inspiring independent advisors with those who have successfully made the transition.

4Advisors was created to help advisors go independent and start their own advisory firms. Advisors who own their own businesses and work directly for clients have more freedom and less conflict of interest, allowing them to serve their clients better. Our motto is "Advisors serving clients, not corporations.
